One Party Mishap Leads to Criminal Record for Coral Springs Senior

Back in 2008, an 11-year-old girl was almost abducted from her own bed. Timothy Schlafer, now 21, is currently going through a trial process for this incident. According to the Sun Sentinel, Schlafer’s excuse for the confusion was drugs.

Schlafer was a senior at Coral Springs High. He had been accepted to Florida Atlantic University through a scholarship. Prior to the accused abduction, Schlafer was at a party where he consumed a large amount of beer, Xanax and LSD. It was reported that Schlafer thought he had walked into his own home, but shouting police startled him and proved otherwise.

Robbery Preventions and Aftermath

A Miami-Dade robbery has left a man injured and a seventeen-year-old boy dead. Woodrow is in the hospital receiving treatment for his injuries, but unfortunately, a bullet killed the seventeen-year old boy, Gerald Daniels. Officials are trying to figure out if one of the bullets that were fired at Walker killed Daniels.

Broward Police Seek Tamarac Burglary Suspects

Deputies from the Broward Sheriff's Office were searching on Monday afternoon for two men involved in a violent Tamarac burglary. The crime took place at the Arbor Keys apartment complex, 4449 Treehouse Lane, in eastern Tamarac. Despite an intense police search, the burglary suspects were still on the loose as of Tuesday morning.

The man living in the apartment, Christopher Roberts, 29, returned home on Monday afternoon at about 1:30pm and actually had the misfortune of interrupting the burglary in progress. As Roberts walked in to find a man ransacking his apartment, a second man clubbed him on the back with a wooden beam and knocked him to the ground. The burglars then tipped a large entertainment center onto Roberts and continued to ransack his home before fleeing. Roberts was transported to Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes for treatment, but fortunately did not appear to have any life-threatening injuries.
